A shout out to digital artists

Posted: 31 Jul 2017 04:12 AM PDT

While I would never downvote anyone posting on r/art, I used to ignore most works with the word digital in the title. I used to think it was cheating in some way, or an easy option.

I paint and sketch myself, but could never get used to things like Wacom tablets.

I'm lucky enough now to have an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil and using procreate I'm learning to create digital art. It feels a little like the real thing.

Now I know this is not the easy option, that it does require skill and talent and creativity.

So thanks to the digital artists that post here, and thanks to those that create tutorials and screen captures of your work. FWIW, you have my respect and admiration.
